Bucks Lose to Pacers in Game 1
The Milwaukee Bucks were without their star player Giannis Antetokounmpo in Game 1 of their Eastern Conference semifinal series against the Indiana Pacers, and it showed. The Pacers took advantage of Antetokounmpo's absence, with every starter reaching double figures in their 125-108 win.
Malcolm Brogdon led the way for the Pacers with 24 points, followed by Domantas Sabonis with 23 points and 10 rebounds. Victor Oladipo added 21 points, while Tyreke Evans had 19 points and Bojan Bogdanovic had 14 points.
The Bucks were led by Khris Middleton, who had 22 points. Eric Bledsoe added 18 points, while Brook Lopez had 15 points and 11 rebounds.
The Pacers took control of the game in the third quarter, outscoring the Bucks 34-19. The Pacers shot 52.4 percent from the field for the game, while the Bucks shot just 41.8 percent.
The Bucks will now face the daunting task of trying to win Game 2 without Antetokounmpo, who is expected to miss the rest of the series with a knee injury.
